An overview of the custom design process with us….

Step 1: Fill in this form or contact us at tasmandiamondco@outlook.com and tell us about what you want to create.

Step 2: We will send you a quote to make your jewellery and work with you to get the design just right.

Step 3: If you decide to proceed, we will request a 50% non-refundable down payment on the quoted amount.

Step 4: Diamond Sourcing: Pictures and videos will be sent to you of your diamond as well the associated certifications. If you don’t like that diamond for any reason, let us know and we’ll happily send you more options!

Step 5: Design: We’ll have a CAD (Computer Aided Design) created for you - this is your opportunity to change or tweak the design to your liking and let us know of any changes you want to make.

Step 6: Production: Production usually takes around 2 - 3 weeks, though sometimes shorter, rarely longer. Some designs take longer, allowing time for processes like custom cutting diamonds. Please let us know early on if you are working on a specific timeline so we can communicate that to our jeweller.

Step 7: Once production is complete our jeweller sends us some pictures and / or videos of the completed piece which we will send on to you. This is your chance to view the completed piece - if anything doesn’t seem up to standard let us know. We can ask our jeweller to make some last minute minor changes if needed, though this may incur further cost if the changes differ from the agreed-upon CAD.

Step 8: Once we receive the piece, we perform some in-house QC. This only takes a day or two, we want to be sure our jewellery is up to our high standards before it’s sent out!

Step 9: We will request that you pay your remaining balance.

Step 10: Your new jewellery piece will be posted to you, insured, via Australia Post or, if you are local, you can book an appointment to pick up.

For most orders this whole process is completed within around 4 - 8 weeks.
